Seems like Google Chrome is finally supporting HiDPI rendering. It took me a while to migrate habits from Firefox to Chrome, but using Chrome on larger screens always seemed a mess. Firefox tended to act more normally on screens with higher DPI, whereas Chrome for a long time had not officially supported it. Recently with an urgent warning from Chrome I happened to update it to Chrome 54.
Now It feels really nice, except the laggy transitions between screens with different DPI settings (I work on dual screen).
Below is an example of the new Google Chrome. It was also rumoured that Chrome 55 will ship with a new JavaScript engine which focused on reducing the memory consumption, where certain tests reported it to be around 60% memory off the previous version, which is a good news for 2GB users.
